This is the first day of creating a personal portfolio website, my aims today are to get all of the pages I need and the basic structure of the site. I will link the pages using a navigation bar at the top righthand side of the site and also give my site the colours I want to include.

Some of my plans for today changed as I made progress on the site, instead of putting the navigation bar on the righthand side I put it under my name, I feel this is a better fit as it draws in the user's eyes. For the bar and the rest of the site I stayed with my plan to colour it in primary colours. The bright and vibrant look gives the appearance of a comic book, a look I was aiming for and my peers agree I have achived.

The site is in a bright blue and the headline text in a red wavy font, I feel this 'pops' and gives the site a dynamic. I created white boxes with thick black boarders to give the appearance of text boxes and panel from comic books. Although I am yet to do so I plan on filling these with information and things i have made such as my sketches or videos.
I have made one example of this on my homepage where I placed my own image under the "portfolio" panel, of which is a picture of my own superhero. I plan on making this a link to my whole portfolio with a scrollable page to see more.

On my 'about' page I created a speech ballon rather than a panel as this information can seem as if I am speaking it. I still made it within the same style with a thick boarder to keep consistancy.
